Tax Return Fraud!

In my post on March 5th, Fraudulent Tax Refund, I warned about the increase in tax return fraud and identity theft.

Here is a post from the Internal Revenue Service about Personal Identification Numbers that one may obtain from them.  It states that upon receipt of a PIN from the IRS, taxpayers should go to to confirm the information.

Other tax scams can be researched on the IRS website at Tax-Scams-Consumer-Alerts.

Happy Tax Season!
